This module stores all the patient insurance records, all subscribers of insurance and all guarantor's used by patients. Therefore, it is a logical place to get a current list of all patients/subscriber that have a particular insurance! The other function from the main menu is the creation of the eligibility file for Medicare patients!
Special Find
After clicking the Special Find tab the dialog below appears. You can use this find dialog to search for records.
If your search gives you any results you will get the list below. Here you can do several things with the information found. You can Print List or Export to Forms where you can send patients a letter who are all on the same insurance plan! You can also use this list to check for Medicare eligibility.
Medicare Eligibility
This function, when properly initialized, will create an upload file you send to your Medicare carrier to check for patient eligibility. If you are submitting claims electronically, and you wish to do this, please ask your technical support specialist.
